Project Summary

• Prime contractor on mechanical upgrades for the Kalamazoo Expo Center

• Covered all scopes of work including:

  • Masonry

  • Concrete

  • Roofing

  • Demolition

  • Electrical

  • Fire protection

  • Controls

  • Gas

  • Insulation

• Phase I: Installed four 20-ton RTUs at ground level, four 10-ton rooftop units, and a furnace serving the bathrooms

• Phase II: Installed two 15-ton RTUs at ground level and new spiral ductwork to serve an expo room that previously only had hydronic heat

  • Added a boiler, air handling unit (AHU), and condenser to serve the offices and restrooms, complete with new ductwork and registers
